44 years old Hawick Lau (劉愷威) and 32 years old Yang Mi (楊冪) ended their 7 years relationship including marriage during Dongzhi Festival on 22nd December 2018. Both will be taking care of their 4 years old daughter as her guardians after the divorce.

Looking back at their history, Hawick and Yang Mi fell in love after shooting As You Wish (如意) drama in 2011 and admitted to their romance in 2012. They registered their marriage in November 2013 and held their wedding ceremony in Bali in January 2014. Both had sweet moments as a wedded couple and Hawick said during an interview previously: “I will love you endlessly!” It made Yang Mi’s tears came down on her face immediately. Subsequently, she gave birth to a baby daughter in Hong Kong in June 2014 and her grandfather, Lau Dan (劉丹) and grandmother had been taking care of her ever since. They continued to focus on their careers and Yang Mi set up a company to groom newcomers. She rose to fame again based on the Chinese drama, Eternal Love (三生三世十里桃花) and only returned to Hong Kong to spend time with her family during her free time.

Rumours related to Hawick and Yang Mi’s marriage problem began to surface in 2015 and one of the reasons was she was pointed to develop feelings for the male lead, Li Yifeng (李易峰) in Fall in Love like a Star (怦然星動) film. They then left it to the lawyer to stop the gossips from circulating. In addition, Yang Mi appears to earn higher income than Hawick and East Week (東周) discovers both have properties worth around $1 billion in joint name in Hong Kong. Ever wonder how they are going to split the properties after the divorce?
