Roger Kwok (郭晉安) played a villain in Big White Duel (白色強人) drama and was slammed by the netizens through online comments lately. On 20th June 2019, he explained his role character was not purely for his own gains and hoped the audiences would understand after watching the series when promoting it at the radio station. As for David Chiang (姜大衛) who acted as the director became unconscious after a surgery operated by him, Roger declared his innocence and the audiences would know the truth during the finale.

When mentioned about the script requested him to smoke in the drama, Roger remained professional and said: “Everyone assumes I will not smoke and they prepare insufficient cigarettes as a result. The staff have to take out their own cigarette packs and I must complete the scene within 20 takes, and unsure if it will be edited though.” He added his daughter was afraid of blood and his son failed to understand the plot, but promised to watch his series upon growing up in the future.
