The press conference for the new tour show, Men’s Kitchen (懿想得到) hosted by Chris Lai (黎諾懿) was held at Tseung Kwan O on 25th June 2019. Because of Jacqueline Wong’s (黃心穎) scandal, Matt Yeung (楊明) was asked to replace her and other guests including Steve Lee (李家鼎) and Mayanne Mak (麥美恩) turned up to show their supports. However, Matt clarified he did not replace her as the film producer had invited him to Malaysia and Japan before the filming and it failed to finalise due to his work schedule.

When mentioned about former Mr Hong Kong contestant, Flow Leung (梁裕恆) exposed him for speaking vulgarity in the group chat after watching the protesters in the video clip, Matt smiled coldly and said: “Mr Flow.” He admitted it was his comment and intended to ignore it, but some netizens begun to misunderstand because of Flow’s message: “It is never my intention to criticise the protesters. I did scold about the video clip but Flow only shows my comments partially and everyone is mistaken as a result. Anyway, my stand is clear and it is peace and anti-violence.”

Matt added he did not keep in touch with Flow and the group chat was deleted after the news was released: “Many colleagues feel uncomfortable because of this incident in the group chat. (Will be extra cautious when facing such people?) There is many different types of people with different aims in the society. It is not within my control and I believe people with sharp eyes will understand the content and main point.”
