Edmond Poon (潘紹聰) is known as the “ghost king” and filmed a horror movie, Binding Souls (綁靈) as the film producer and actor. The location shooting took place in Thailand and the crew team organised a worshipping ceremony and engaged a master to ensure everything ran smoothly. A few months ago, Edmond led a team to interview an eminent master in Thailand and was possessed by an evil spirit and had to seek help from his friend.

Apparently, Binding Souls (燒鬚) film is based on a true story and Kara Hui (惠英紅) and Carlos Chan (陳家樂) played the main leads. The plot illustrated a particular boys school in Hong Kong was conquered by Japanese army and it left many prints after the war. Edmond acted as a silly and crazy man in the movie and said: “I do not expect to have hair at all. I resemble a beggar when having tanned skin and wearing hair wig. I am quite happy as it is different from my past role characters.”

In addition, Edmond led a team to visit an eminent master in Thailand every year and invited him to write a charm on his palm, so as to increase his money luck and business opportunities. However, he begun to hear strange sounds when sleeping at night lately: “My right ear hears some sounds when sleeping and it does not belong to a human. It might invade my body upon seeing this charm and I approached my friend in Thailand for help. I started to puke once he had completed it and he saw a kid was following me. He then gave me some special water to take a shower and I did not hear any sound after showering twice. After having this charm, my luck starts to improve and the master explains it is unrelated to the previous charm.”
