Hana Kuk (菊梓喬) held her first concert at the Kowloonbay International Trade & Exhibition Centre (九展) on 24th August 2019, but many Hong Kong demonstrations took place at Kwun Tong, Kowloon Bay and the metro service was suspended temporarily from Choi Hung station to Tiu Keng Leng station. Despite the chaotic situation between the police and protestors in last afternoon, Hana continued to hold her concert and many netizens were puzzled about the ticket refund arrangement. During the last hour of Hana’s concert on 24th August, The Voice Entertainment Group Limited (星夢娛樂) finally made an announcement on Facebook about the refund procedure: “On 24th August 2019, Hana wanted to spend time with you at her concert and the organisation committee understood some people were absent because of the traffic or sudden situation. Please keep your ticket properly and we will make an update about the refund procedure later.”

Hana posted an emotional message on Instagram after her concert: “I assumed I had to cancel the concert last night and thank you to the audiences for turning up and supporting me. I am full of gratitude and performing to the public is my honour. Safety is the most important and sorry for making you go through the hardships. Once again, very sorry.”
