As Kristal Tin (田蕊妮) posted an online message which was suspected to hint about her dissatisfaction towards the “unlimited loop” during the press conference conducted by Chief Executive of Hong Kong, Carrie Lam (林鄭月娥) and angered the Chinese netizens earlier, she is rumoured to be “frozen” by TVB and forbidden to participate in all promotion activities for her new drama, Girlie Days (她她她的少女時代).

On 26th August 2019, Kristal returned to Tseung Kwan O to promote the series and when mentioned about the gossips, she said: “I am promoting it now and mid September as well. I am currently busy preparing for my concert. (Did TVB reduce your workload?) I will be taking a break after my concert. It is arranged long ago and I will continue to do my part well. (How long is your break?) No idea and I have no work plan after my concert.”

Kristal added the company neither reprimanded nor reminded her about her online speeches: “Honestly speaking, I feel emotional after watching that press conference and it is a reflex reaction. Unrelated to politics problem at all.”

Revealing that TVB reminded their artistes might become emotional because of the Chinese audiences and would choose the roles based on a business decision, Kristal said: “I have no idea. All artistes are reactive and it is the company’s decision. I believe it makes a serious consideration before arriving to a decision.” She emphasised she posted messages to share her daily routine and life perspective and would continue to do it.
