Cecilia Cheung’s (張栢芝) mother, Davies Shally (戴莎莉) experiences 4 marriages and is currently single at 58 years old. She became Uber driver in order to earn a living two years ago. Cecilia used to take good care of her family and became the sole breadwinner upon joining the entertainment industry. However after filing for divorce with Nicholas Tse (謝霆鋒), her popularity decreases and she is experiencing financial difficulty.
Hence, Davies begun to work in restaurant and bakery and film horror movie, The Cases II (魕異). In 2017, she became Uber driver which suited her because of the flexible schedule but the income was average. During her free time, Davies loved to drink tea in the cafe and went for manicure in Mainland China by driving to Lo Wu.
An Apple Daily HK (蘋果) reader, Ms Li (李小姐) reported through (爆相爆片) that she saw Davies was enjoying her manicure session at an ordinary nail salon in Lo Wu: “Around 5pm on that day, Davies and her female friend walked into a nail salon and it was very crowded. She asked the staff if there was any empty slot and would return after 30 minutes later.” Subsequently, Davies returned and went for manicure and pedicure session while a male staff massaged her head and shoulder. Ms Li said: “The whole package should cost around $60 to $80 (CNY). I am a regular customer and it is my first time to see her. Based on the conversation with the employee, it looks like Davies is also a regular customer and I realise she is Cecilia’s mother upon overhearing from the staff.”
