Flora Chan (陳慧珊) produces her own television show in Hong Kong Open TV (香港開電視) and her good friends including Jessica Hsuan (宣萱) and Myolie Wu (胡杏兒) show their supports. It turned out that they used to pursue their studies in England and decided to go over there as the location shooting. The first stop was Myolie’s secondary school in Belfast.

During the program, Myolie shared her experiences of going to a boarding school at 12 years old and became independent within few years: “I used to assume doing homework and going for examinations are suffering and realise the real pressure upon stepping into the working society. It is very relaxing as a student and I urge all students to cherish the schooling days. I remembered we have to keep walking to attend chemistry lesson after English lesson. It is a very long distance and my feet have blisters due to the poor quality of shoes.”

When mentioned about staying alone in foreign country, Myolie recalled of receiving £5 as her weekly allowance as the food was provided by the school: “I do not really need a lot of money but need to buy some food whenever going out with my friends. A pack of potato chips costs £1 and I choose the cheapest. I usually go for window shopping and watch movie with my friend after saving some money. These experiences make me cherish every moment and realise the importance of earning and saving money.”

In addition, Myolie was full of compliments her her husband, Philip Lee (李乘德): “I feel very relieved for the next generation once finding him as my partner. We have the same thinking in many areas such as education and showing respects for our parents and I believe he will provide a stable financial life for our family.”
