32-year-old Owen Cheung (張振朗) is heavily groomed by TVB and participated in singing competitions in 2006 and 2009. As he resembles Bosco Wong (黃宗澤), the public has been showing attention on him. In 2011, he attended the acting classes in TVB and was given minority roles. Owen is rumoured to have good affinity with the senior management in TVB and begun to climb up the ladder slowly after shooting Come Home Love (愛•回家2) sitcom in 2015.

In 2017, Owen’s fame increased upon shooting Legal Mavericks (踩過界) drama with Vincent Wong (王浩信). He proceeded to film other series including Finding Her Voice (牛下女高音), The Offliners (堅離地愛堅離地) and Airport Strikers (機場特警) as the male lead and the second lead in Justice Bao: The First Year (包青天再起風雲) and Al Cappuccino (極度怪咖) drama. As some series are suspended because of “On Sum” (安心偷食) scandal and the conflicts between the police force and citizens, Owen is described as “hell prince” but Justice Bao: The First Year drama is broadcasted and Finding Her Voice becomes TVB anniversary drama.

As for his love life, Owen is discovered to date ViuTV actress, Renci Yeung (楊偲泳) quickly after ending his 5 years relationship with Apple Chan (陳芷尤) last year. They are a lovey-dovey couple and he picks her up frequently and her flat in Sai Wan becomes their dating venue. Earlier during mid-autumn festival, Owen celebrated with Renci’s family at her parent’s house in Heng Fa Chuen and it is evident their relationship is stable. However as ViuTV actress, the company is a competitor to TVB which is an obstacle to their romance and Owen is also reminded by the senior management to handle his love affair in low-key manner.
