Since “On Sum” (安心事件) scandal was exposed in April 2019, Jacqueline Wong (黃心穎) has been “hiding” for 8 months and finally returned to Hong Kong on 14th December. She confessed to the media with tears that changing her occupation had not crossed her mind at the airport. As her new drama, Handmaidens United (丫鬟大聯盟) will be airing soon, the public suspect that Jacqueline is planning to make an on-screen comeback. 3 days ago on Instagram, she appeared to be in a happy mood when sharing photo of herself decorating Christmas tree in home clothes.

22nd December was Dongzhi festival and many families had celebrations together. When the reporters were about to leave around 7.30pm, somebody saw Jacqueline’s parent were setting off to her house with 2 shopping bags after leaving their flat in Lok Fu. According to Apple Daily HK (蘋果), the cab was waiting at their house downstairs and the reporters greeted them, once both alighted at Jacqueline’s apartment. They looked calm and happy overall. When asked if they were taking dinner to Jacqueline, her mother only smiled while her father talked to the guard for a short while before going upstairs.

As for her elder sister, Scarlett Wong (黃心美), she revealed they had “poon choi” to celebrate Dongzhi festival and left a message on Instagram: “Thank you for the delicious meal.” It is a feast consisting of abalones, prawns, fish balls and vegetables. Apparently, it is considered giving warmth to Jacqueline but not a family reunion, as their second elder sister, Shelby Wong (黃心妙) and her husband are currently having a vacation in Canada. On 21st December, Shelby uploaded photo of herself holding her hubby’s hand and posted a message on Instagram: “It is rare to have a break. It looks like we are getting old now.”

In addition, Sammi Cheng (鄭秀文) shared photo of herself in a red outfit and remarked that she looked like a Christmas tree. She left a message on Instagram: “What are you having with your family on Dongzhi festival?” It won compliments from many netizens and they wished her happy Dongzhi festival.
