Frankie Lam (林文龍) attended the final round for ATV Ms Asia Pageant (亞姐總決賽) as the vice-president with his family on 29th December 2019. As he filmed TVB drama, Life After Death (那些我愛過的人) in this April, Frankie is promoted to the senior management in ATV quickly and needed to face many challenges including the financial difficulty. He gave his assurance to the public again: “We must solve the debt problem immediately and how can I convince everyone if failing to resolve the issue? It is important to work happily and enjoy the process as a team in order to make it successful. If we are facing financial problem, we must resolve it quickly but from my point of view, it is not very serious.”

When asked if he will promote TVB drama, Life After Death which was rumoured to broadcast in next April, Frankie said: “I do not mind but it depends on TVB though. I feel we should build team unity in show business and will help TVB if they need my help. Anyway, we can exchange our knowledge even working in different companies.” His wife, Kenix Kwok (郭可盈) said: “We used to have competitions in 1980s and 1990s but it is a different era now and we should produce high quality work to present to the audiences.”

Although TVB was known as petty, but Frankie was not worried about his drama became warehouse series: “It is not within my control and might not be airing in April even if you tell me about it. TVB has many warehouse series and there are many drama already wrapped up but not broadcasting until now. As an actor, I am reactive and it is unnecessary to worry about it. What matters most is doing my part well and treating it normally.”

In addition, mentioning that Mimi Chu (朱咪咪) revealed he will be filming Armed Reaction V (陀槍師姐V) drama, Frankie replied he had rejected it right from the beginning: “I doubt it as will be busy with my work. I will appreciate and feel grateful to TVB if they are inviting me though.”
