Although TVB new drama, The Dripping Sauce (大醬園) will be making its premiere on 20th January 2020, but it is receiving attention from the public because one of the female leads, Katy Kung (龔嘉欣) hinted she was forced to shoot for additional hours and sent to the hospital, due to one of the cast team members kept applying for medical leave. Hence, Rebecca Zhu (朱晨麗) became the biggest suspect and revealed her unhappiness online: “Creating gossips? Please leave! Thank you!”

On 18th January, Katy and Rebecca were absent at the promotion activity for The Dripping Sauce series at Tseung Kwan O TV City. The film producer Leung Choi Yuen (梁材遠) expressed all cast team members worked very hard during an interview. Mentioning about Rebecca and Katy, he said: “Both have different qualities. I work with different female leads such as Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣) and Eliza Sam (岑麗香) previously and everyone is different. It is hard to make comparisons. (Katy pointed someone kept applying medical leave?) We will definitely fall sick when filming for 3 months. It also happens between the male colleagues and is important to show understanding. (Do they get along well?) It is full of love upon watching the playback and both acted very well. (How about after the filming?) We cannot say too much and there is no eternal enemies. Perhaps they might be working again in another drama. Anyway, it is an interesting sector and every artiste will always try to play their role well.”

When asked if Matthew Ho (何廣沛) and James Ng (吳業坤) discovered some team members had conflicts during the interview, Matthew said: “Everyone works in harmony and you should know upon winning Most Popular On-Screen Partnership (最受歡迎電視拍檔) Award previously.” They added the medical leave application did not affect the filming progress. Revealing that Katy remarked it was difficult to shoot for consecutively hours, James said: “It is normal. I film for 48 hours continuously before and even end up falling asleep, when driving for 3 to 4 days per week.” Matthew said: “It is very tiring to shoot for consecutive days and we have to take it easy as actors. (How is the relationship between the 3 female leads?) Good. They are absent at the promotion activity today and definitely get along well.”
