Liza Wang (汪明荃) is perceived as a daring and knowledgable woman. On 5th February 2020, she knocked onto a crane truck when driving past Prince Edward Road West and fortunately, nobody was injured. There was a dent on Liza’s vehicle. An Apple Daily HK (蘋果) reader named Mr Lee reported through (爆相爆片) that he witnessed both partied signed on an agreement about not pursuing legal actions.
Mr Lee said during a telephone interview from Apple Daily HK: “Around 2.45pm on 5th February, I saw a crane truck and vehicle crashed into each other upon driving past Prince Edward Road West. The police officer were at the scene and I realised she was Liza when alighting from her car. She was dressed up very elegantly without a face mask but the cops wore it. There was a dent on her car and it is not very serious though. Overall, it is Liza’s fault.” From the video clip provided by Mr Wong, the police officers were maintaining the traffic rules and Liza used her mobile phone to take photos of two vehicles, after explaining the whole accident to the cops. Mr Wong also overheard Liza saying that she was willing to compensate and accept the responsibility. Finally, he witnessed both parties signed on an agreement about not pursuing legal actions and the whole process lasted for 30 minutes.
