Earlier, Vincent Wong (王浩信), Owen Cheung (張振朗), Sisley Choi (蔡思貝), Kelly Cheung (張曦雯) and Jessica Kan (簡淑兒) fell ill together and it delayed the filming progress of TVB new drama, Legal Mavericks II (踩過界II). After stopping for 3 days and disinfecting the studio room, the shooting finally resumed and Paul Chun (秦沛) and Vincent returned to TV City on 4th February 2020. Based on the information, the team will be travelling to Myanmar for a locating shooting for 2 weeks on 9th March.
During an interview, Vincent explained his voice turned hoarse due to speaking lengthy dialogues since playing a lawyer. Hence, he decided to apply for medical leave and return to work after full recovery: “I did not see a doctor. My throat already feels unwell on the second day and I have a fever and feel very weak. Fortunately, I start to feel better after resting for a day.” He emphasised it was a critical period and they were not lazy but needed to take care of their health and safety.
When asked if some production staff refused to wear face masks, Vincent replied he had reminded everyone to be extra careful and the company reinforced the safety measures. He also suggested to install disinfection equipment at the carpark and studio room. Checking if he tried to buy face masks, Vincent said: “One of my family members works in the medical industry and there should be two boxes of face masks at home. Hopefully everyone will help one another especially the elderly, as they are clueless about buying online.”
