Coronavirus is causing heavy impacts to the entire world and many countries have issued national lockdown. Hence, majority of the production have suspended and many artistes working in overseas cannot return to their countries immediately. Earlier, Charlene Choi (蔡卓妍) and Kenny Kwan (關智斌) travelled to Malaysia to film drama and the local government announced national lockdown from 18th to 31st March 2020.
On 16th March, Kenny and Charlene uploaded photos and video clip of themselves pulling the luggages and leaving the hotel on Instagram. He looked helpless and described it as “craziness at midnight” At 7pm on the same day, Kenny watched drama and queued up to buy face masks and hand wash at 8pm. After an hour later, he ate dinner and was informed about the news at 10pm. Subsequently, Kenny packed his luggage and boarded the vehicle at 12am.
As for Charlene, she took the same actions and said: “I used an hour to take a shower and pack my clothes into the luggage without folding it. Everyone’s luggage is increased by double and it resembles to fleeing the country. #make-up artist pointed we became friends after experiencing life and death #reached the second place at 4.30am #used to early morning #cannot sleep again #received texts from many friends #do not worry #I will not go out #whole crew team is trying to stay indoor #keep washing my hands now #it is dry but washing hands is very important. #health is the most important #must maintain personal hygiene #protecting ourselves #fighting” Based on the information, the crew team had left Kuala Lumpur and begun the shooting in the next destination.
