59-year-old Andy Tai (戴志偉) and his wife are married for many years and have 2 sons who are graduates. All along, they are a blissful family until Andy is exposed for having an extra-marital affair with a young female colleague named Candy lately. In 2011, he left TVB and worked as a district manager in an insurance company, AIA. Other than working, Andy has a busy life as he needs to act as chauffeur and spend time with Candy at Repulse Bay.
Around 11.30am on 5th April, a big group of media waited outside his flat at Ma On Shan. When asked about cheating behind his wife’s back upon driving out, Andy stopped near Lake Silver and spoke vulgarities once alighting: “X you XX, I am calling the police. Why are you following me? Are you very free?”
At the point, Andy did not wear any face mask and his saliva was spread everywhere upon going near the reporters. When they requested for an interview, Andy remained agitated and said: “Nothing to talk about. Why do you harass me?” He then retrieved his mobile from his car and took photos of the reporters and asked: “Are you reporters? Well, show me your staff pass! I will lodge a police report for harassment, X! Why are you guys very mean? Why Hong Kong people are terrible? Is this your work ethic as reporters?
Next, Andy continued to question the identity of the reporters and took photos of them. He asked them again: “Did I do something wrong and offend you? Finally, he called the police who arrived after 10 minutes later. The officer wrote both parties’ information down and Andy drove away after that.
