Chris Lai (黎諾懿) competed his culinary skills with Edwin Siu (蕭正楠) and cooked golden prawns and fried osmanthus rice noodles within 10 minutes during Community Chest Charity show (萬眾同心公益金) on 6th June.
Chris admitted the time management was a challenge and believed he could complete it successfully. He also witnessed Edwin’s culinary shills in the program and reckoned he would not choose to cook simple dishes.
When asked if he cooked for his son frequently, Chris replied he preferred cold dishes such as sushi, salmon, crab sticks and natto and felt happy whenever travelling to Japan. He also bought a mini conveyor sushi belt for his son at home.
