Hong Kong actor Robert Mak (麥德羅) is diagnosed with COVID-19 and turned up at a birthday party with Ron Ng (吳卓羲) on 4th July. Ron did not have any symptoms for the past 2 weeks and went for a test immediately. Fortunately, the result showed it was negative.
The filming for Flying Tiger 3 drama (飛虎3壯志英雄) was commenced on 24th July and Ron accepted a telephone interview with Ming Pao (明報): “Previously, the government allowed 50 people in a gathering and I decide to go to the birthday party. At the time, I do not have any body contact with Robert and have no symptoms. However, I decide to go for a test since filming new drama soon.” Ron revealed his friends were worried about him once reading the news report and his mother asked about his condition as well.
Ron added his filming partners such as Michael Miu (苗僑偉) and Bosco Wong (黃宗澤) felt relieved upon knowing he was in good condition: “I will be fine if Michael said I am healthy. On 22nd July, Bosco and I meet up and discuss about the safety measures for the shooting. It is inconvenient to wear face masks when filming drama. (The shooting for Flying Tiger 3 series is postponed due to the virus earlier?) The production team have disinfected the studio rooms and made safety precautions. There are more than 10 people in a team and we will take care of ourselves well.”
