New film Vanguard (急先鋒) starring Jackie Chan (成龍) is supposed to premiere during lunar new year in 2020 but it is delayed for nearly 9 months, due to COVID-19.

During a recent interview with Chinese media, Jackie disclosed he was nearly drowned in a scene which illustrated that he tried to save the female lead, Miya Muqi (母其彌雅) by riding a speedboat. However, the boat capsized when it knocked on the rock in the middle of the sea. Miya quickly held on to the boat but Jackie was nowhere in sight and the rescue team rushed over and found him eventually. It turned out that Jackie was missing for 45 seconds and film producer Stanley Tong’s (唐季禮) tears came down because of the worry. Finally, Jackie told himself to stay calm when the boat capsized at the time.
