On Instagram, newly crowned TV King Vincent Wong (王浩信) expressed he felt fortunate to return to Hong Kong in time to celebrate his victory with everyone. He wrote: “Thank you TVB for giving me this recognition. Congratulations to all winners! #AI Cappuccino (反黑路人甲) It is my honour to work together with all of you. Once again, thank you to Mr Lam Chi Wah (林志華) and Benny Wong (黃偉強) for creating and extending my roles. I have mixed feelings when filming comedy drama and it is indeed not easy. Feeling grateful and wishing all audiences have a better 2021.”
Subsequently, Elaine Yiu (姚子羚), Winki Lai (賴慰玲), Ben Wong (黃智賢), Mandy Wong (黃智雯) and Tracy Chu (朱千雪) gave their blessings but some netizens noticed Vincent failed to mention his wife, Yoyo Chen (陳自瑤). They wrote: “Where is your wife? You must treat her better and love your family forever. What is your thoughts about Yoyo’s reaction? Your series are interesting and we look forward to your new drama.”
Although Yoyo attended 2020 TVB Anniversary Awards (萬千星輝頒獎典禮2020) on 10th January, but she had no response when Vincent was delivering his winning speech. After that, Yoyo explained she felt unwell and returned home by taking the same vehicle with Edwin Siu (蕭正楠) and Priscilla Wong (黃翠如). It seems that she has no plans to celebrate with Vincent.
At midnight, Yoyo posted an online message that she needed to help her daughter to prepare her homework and did not celebrate with her husband: “It is not easy to balance both family and career but I will try my best. Good night!”
On the following day, Yoyo made another online post and thanked everyone for casting their votes: “Although I do not win any awards last night, but I feel grateful to participate in the ceremony. I will continue to work hard. Thank you to everybody for supporting me. 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💜💜💜😘😘😘 #2020 TVB Anniversary Awards #thank you #continue to work hard #I am not slim at all”
