Steven Ma (馬浚偉) becomes an official barista and attended a promotion activity for the show (緣來自咖啡2) on 26th January. He invited guests such as Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣), Mary Hon (韓馬利), Cherie Chan (陳少霞), Florence Chan (陳淑芬), Mary Cheung (張瑪莉), Josephine Koo (顧美華), Agnes Chiang (蔣麗萍) and Sharon Chan (陳敏之) to drink coffee in every episode.
Steven expressed he felt touched that Linda agreed to appear in the programme while filming drama, and they managed to meet up before returning to Canada. He added he begun a coffee business for 2 years and provided coffee supplies via website: “I have recovered my investment and the sales revenue increases by 40% during the virus period.”
When mentioned about competing with Moses Chan (陳豪) who opened a cafe, Steven said: “We are not competitors. I did buy coffee from him and the packaging is nice. It tastes lovely. Moses is smart and we are friends for many years. He does researches on coffee long ago but I only begin in 2019.”
As Steven started a coffee business and pursued Traditional Chinese Medicine course in recent years, he pointed he had achieved his goals and planned to reduce on-screen appearances before 60 year old: “I hope to open a farm in New Territories and start my retirement life.”
