Crazy Runner group members such as Joel Chan (陳山聰), Benjamin Yuen (袁偉豪), Elaine Yiu (姚子羚) and Brian Tse (謝東閔) accepted an interview from Master’s Talk (師父有請) hosted by Bob Lam (林盛斌) and Mak Ling Ling (麥玲玲). The discussion is related to “human luck” and “land luck”.

When mentioned about “borrowing luck”, they heard about it and Benjamin disclosed he met a female channeller who told him he offended someone in his previous lifetime and blocked half of his face. Hence, his career remained the same since joining the industry for 10 years. On that day, Benjamin kowtowed and apologised 1000 times and was given an opportunity to join TVB thereafter.” Stating about “land luck”, Benjamin revealed he moved house once 3 years ago before settling down and twice within a year in 2020. He then bought a house with his wife Bowie Cheung (張寶兒).

Pointing that Bowie came from a wealthy family, Benjamin admitted he felt stressful: “I feel normal if unaware of it but unhappy upon reading the news. (Afraid when going to your father-in-law house?) Nope but feeling uncomfortable after knowing the news. Sometimes, I really avoid reading it but somebody forwards it to me and it affects my mood after that. Thus, I decide to speak up after losing my tolerance. Honestly speaking, I need to support my wife and pay for the house too. Who knows the public begin to criticise my looks?”

Benjamin emphasised the gossips did not affect his relationship with Bowie. When she mentioned her parent agreed to let her marry him, he said: “Her parent know that I am a realistic and hardworking person and reckon I could handle Bowie.”

Finally, everyone felt shocked when Ling Ling revealed she ran for 6km daily. She said: “I can even make a vow. I run at Braemar Hill and climb up the staircase from first to 16th level. I have no idea why I could not lose weight. Perhaps it is because I am a food lover just like Bob.”
