After wrapping up TVB new drama, Kids’ Lives Matter (星空下的仁醫), Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣) returns to Canada immediately and releases a new video on her YouTube Channel every week. In the latest video, she discloses every housewife’s headache about cooking dishes everyday: “I feel it is complicated, hard to cook and a waste of time whenever searching for recipes online. It gives me a headache as I seldom cook before married. However, I am a traditional woman and should take care of my family well, after settling down. Hence, the first issue is to cook a good meal for them.”
Subsequently, Linda records cooking video and teaches about preparing simple, healthy and delicious meals. It turns out she is cooking pork bone congee with dried oyster and dried white cabbage. The first task is to prepare dried cabbage, lean meat, tomato, dried oyster, candied date, duck gizzard, apricot kernel and peel. Linda emphasised it was important to wash all ingredients and simmer for two hours. Thus, it is considered a quick and easy meal.
Within 2 days, there are more than 30,000 viewers and many praise Linda looks fit even after giving birth to 2 kids. They reckoned she must have drink lots of soup and said: “I do not expect Linda is a traditional woman and boils soup for her children frequently. Her family is definitely living healthily. Well, I learn something new and it is not bad to boil soup.”
