Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣) signed a long-term contract with TVB after winning the Miss Chinese International. She was heavily groomed and given a golden opportunity to participate in the sitcom, Virtues of Harmony (皆大歡喜). Hence, Linda purchased a flat at Tseung Kwan O in 2006 and bought another flat in 2011.

Apparently, Linda made huge sacrifices in order to pay for two properties. In the latest episode of Coffee, You and Me 2 (緣來自咖啡 2) show, she revealed she suffered from tremendous pressure when filming A Journey Called Life (金石良緣) drama in 2008 and had rashes all over her body. However, Linda continued to work and said: “I showed it to Tavia Yeung (楊怡) in the toilet and she shouted immediately. I am considered a hardworking person who will not reject any opportunities.” Steven Ma (馬浚偉) confessed it was an unforgettable memory when working with Linda in A Journey Called Life series as her skin was rotten: “It was extremely serious as you even had blisters but continued to work. I told her to take a rest but she refused to and was indeed silly. Thus, I was mad and told film director that I decided to take a break so that Linda could rest. I even had to help her to find a doctor.”

Subsequently, Linda explained she was a quiet person and dared not fight for her rights: “I am a timid person who lacks of confidence and feel nervous easily.” When mentioned about her marriage, she replied it was time for her to settle down: “It does not really cross my mind though. My learning experiences are enhanced by 10 times after becoming a wife and mother. I cannot be selfish and must do my duties well, and realise I have lots of things to learn when looking at them.”
