Kiki Sheung (商天娥) acted as a confused granny in Plan “B” (寶寶大過天) drama receives good responses. During an interview at a radio show (舊日的足跡) hosted by Candy Chea (車淑梅), she discussed about her blissful marriage life and the reason for making an on-screen comeback.
As the series is coming to an end, Kiki was full of confidence about the rating record: “It has been 6 years since I film drama and my friends are waiting to see my performance again. Secondly, it is related to Kenneth Ma (馬國明). We know each other for many years ago and he always chats with me in the makeup room. (Is he saving money for his wedding?) He told me he wished to buy another flat for his mother. (Saving the current house for himself?) Haha. I cannot comment anything on behalf of him.”
Kiki praised Kenneth was an observant person who knew how to use different methods to communicate with people: “I am a stern person but he manages to chat with me. Hence, he has his own mindset and will be a good husband. Roxanne Tong (湯洛雯) is indeed a lucky woman.”
When mentioned about the comparisons between Plan “B” and Who Wants a Baby (BB來了) series in 2019, Kiki replied: “I did watch Who Wants a Baby drama and begin to show interest since it is the sequel. I do not mind it and everyone has his/her own fans. Eliza Sam (岑麗香) and every cast team member is beautiful.”
Apparently, Kiki joins the industry for 38 years and married her husband, Patrick when more than 40 year old. Checking if he had a crush on her for more than 10 years and waited for her silently previously, she smiled and said: “You have to ask him. It is inconvenient for me to check with him. We are mature adults and it is meaningless for me to ask many questions. During our first date, he confessed he was not rich and asked me if I minded it. I said I disliked rich guys and felt contented as long as it was enough.”
Although Kiki wished to give birth to two baby girls, but it was not granted and she understood that it was not within their control: “Patrick and I did think about adoption. Upon making a decision, he was worried about bad family genes such as behaviour from her parent. Thus, we forget about it and move on. What matters most is our love lasts forever.”
