Recently, 51-year-old Flora Chan (陳慧珊) is exposed for conducting English lessons at Shenzhen and the subject about becoming a boss turns into a hot topic immediately. Subsequently, that organisation clarified Flora worked as a teacher from 2012 to 2017 and focused on improving the kids’ language skills.

Since marrying Mike (鍾家鴻) in 2006 and giving birth to a baby girl, Flora participates in drama occasionally and is invited to an educational-themed show, After School (放學後) in 2019. A few days ago, she accepted an interview from Chinese COSMOPOLITAN and revealed her latest condition. Flora said: “Lately, I agree to shoot a film related to two Hong Kong girls growing up stories and it will be premiering next year. Also, I am currently preparing for my own movie and will graduate with doctor’s degree from The University of Hong Kong (香港大學), if everything runs smoothly.”

When asked if she withdrew from show business, Flora emphasised she remained an artiste until now: “I receive many invitations and need to think about it seriously.”

In 2012, 44-year-old Flora enrolled in The University of Hong Kong and graduated with master’s degree. She then joined the education industry and continued to pursue doctor’s degree. Flora said: “My plan changes completely after becoming a mother. I intend to upgrade myself and decide to come back to school because of my daughter. I did not expect returning to the society becomes a big target. I am getting old and have tried everything. Upon encountering difficulties, we should say try me instead of why me.”
