New film, Raging Fire (怒火) starring Donnie Yen (甄子丹), Nicholas Tse (謝霆鋒) and Qin Lan (秦嵐) and directed by Hong Kong director, Benny Chan (陳木勝) premiered in end July in China and it received good reviews. As for Hong Kong, it will be releasing on 19th August and some Chinese netizens urged Nicholas to stop being a chef and become an actor star instead.

Many Chinese netizens praised Nicholas’s acting skills and the action scenes looked exciting. As they suggested him to become an action star, Nicholas replied on Weibo personally: “Are you putting a bomb in my kitchen?” He then added photo of himself carrying a grenade in the movie.

Subsequently, many netizens responded again: “It is a waste of time to work in the kitchen. Please stop it and many fans are waiting for you. Nicholas will come back to sing and act after his kitchen explodes. It does not matter if the culinary world lacks of a chef but not a good actor who has high potential in movie industry.” They also looked forward to his next concert.

In the film, Donnie played a senior police inspector and met a ruthless killer who turned out to be his good friend, while investigating a drug trafficking case. Hence, there are countless of fighting and gun shoot scenes which make the movie interesting.
