On 2nd September, Kelly Fu (傅嘉莉) and Jessica Kan (簡淑兒) sought advice from ViuTV host related to horse racing at the press conference (馬季開鑼). Kelly expressed she went to a racecourse but had little knowledge in horses but her mother and uncles were loyal fans: “Many years ago, my mother placed heavy bets on a horse (榮利駿馬) as it had my siblings and my names. In recent years, I learn horse riding due to filming TVB drama and could finally have a conversation with them.”
Kelly disclosed she heard about the heavy investment about being a horse owner but it was much cheaper after it retired from racing: “However because of the pandemic, they were placed in a quarantine zone and I am forced to stop practising horse riding for 2 years. Initially, I felt down and bled when practising horse riding due to avoiding a trolley. Hence, I had to apply concealer to hide the wound when filming drama.”
As for Jessica, she also felt down while riding a horse due to giving wrong instruction: “Fortunately, the horse neither stepped nor kicked me but looked at me in a sympathy way. Thus, I patted on it and rode again.” She added she did not try horse riding with her boyfriend Derek Mackesy (麥大力) but looked forward to sit in a helicopter together, so as to listen to his flying experience on that day.
