Lately, Hong Kong movie king Tony Leung Chiu Wai (梁朝偉) is busy promoting Marvel action film, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Ring (尚氣與十環幫傳奇). On 6th September, he accepted an interview conducted by Carol Cheng (鄭裕玲) at a radio show, When I Was Young I Listen To The Radio (口水多過浪花). When Carol exposed Tony wished to retire at 36 year old in the past, he replied he had forgotten about it and explained earning a living was difficult in the past: “For the past 10 years, I work in a relaxing manner and having sufficient rest is the most important. I will shoot as long as feel like working and there is a good script. I have wrapped up a Hong Kong movie and will be preparing for a new drama in Shanghai soon. I plan to shoot series in Vancouver next year.”
Asking about his desired occupation if not working as an actor, Tony responded he might become sports athletic and play surfing and sailing: “I dislike jogging as there is little changes. We can have more interactions when playing water activities. Everyday is different and we get to learn many stuff since secondary school.” When Carol suggested Tony could represent Hong Kong team as he was the first runner-up in sailing competition, Tony rejected it as he was a humble person and his stamina was not as good as youngsters: “I do not mind playing water sports activities alone. My wife, Carina Lau (劉嘉玲) loves jogging and hiking and I prefer to hike with my family.”
In addition, Tony shared his surfing photos and looked cool and energetic while holding surfing board.
