Recently, Marvel action film, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (尚氣與十環幫傳奇) premieres in the cinema. Many asian stars such as Tony Leung Chiu Wai (梁朝偉), Fala Chen (陳法拉), Michelle Yeoh (楊紫瓊) and Yuen Wah (元華) participate in the movie.

Michelle promoted the film during an interview from British news and media website, The Guardian (衛報). When mentioned about working together with Jackie Chan (成龍), she recalled of jumping from a motorcycle to a moving train in Supercop (警察故事III超級警察) movie in 1992: “It is indeed dangerous. At the time, Jackie advised me not to do it personally but I questioned him about shooting dangerous scenes continuously. He then explained that he needed to perform better since I already did it.” When asked if Jackie felt women should stay in the kitchen and not shooting films, Michelle replied: “Yes, he did say that and I kicked his bottom.”

In addition, Michelle disclosed she stopped her on-screen appearances temporarily after Supercop movie because of her ex-husband, Sir Dickson Poon (潘迪生): “It is a very hard choice. I treat marriage as a perfect existence. Perhaps it is because of asian culture and I should focus on my marriage completely. Hence, I have to stop jumping from the buildings in other countries.”
