TVB anniversary drama, Kids’ Lives Matter (星空下的仁醫) starring Kenneth Ma (馬國明), Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣) and Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎) receives good reviews since the premiere. Other than 3 of them, Bonnie Lui (呂靜文) who played a young Linda in the series also has an outstanding performance.

During an interview with HK01 (香港01), Bonnie expressed television director advised her to watch Linda’s previous drama: “At the time, the crew team felt I resemble Linda and told me to try for an audition. They pointed my character and behaviour reminded them of Linda and believed I was suitable for the role. After getting it successfully, television director advised me to watch her series such as Heart of Greed (溏心風暴) and monitored her tone, behaviour and actions. Linda has a signature expression which is winking her eye in Kids’ Lives Matter drama and I try my best to imitate it.”

In addition, television director encouraged Bonnie and another 2 young actors to monitor the leads’ on-screen performances closely. Bonnie grabbed every opportunity to interact with Linda and said: “She told me I reminded her when joining the industry as a newcomer at the point. Linda is a very nice and warm person. I remembered I bumped into her in the company once and she asked me about my work condition.”
