On 29th November, Shaun Tam (譚俊彥), Alex Fong (方力申), Eddie Kwan (關禮傑) and his daughter, Tiffany Kwan (關楓馨), Philip Ng (伍允龍) and Aska Cheung (張馳豪) recorded a show (男神廚房開業喇) at Tsuen Wan. Shaun expressed it was a challenge that they needed to cook for 80 people for a day: “I have a restaurant and cook for 100 people previously. We must ensure the food is warm and plan before cooking.” He pointed he was a beginner in culinary skills and his restaurant closed within 6 months, and changed to online sales due to the pandemic.
Alex confessed he had poor culinary skills and was worried upon knowing the reservation was full. He smiled and said: “Perhaps my cooking suits everyone’s taste earlier. I used to laugh at others for having poor cooking skills and reckon it is a destiny to cook again this year.” As Crystal Fung (馮盈盈) remarked the vegetables was too spicy, Alex said: “I cook based on the theme and it is her problem that she could not eat spicy food.”
When asked if he invited his rumoured girlfriend, Jeannie Chan (陳瀅) to try his culinary skills, Alex replied: “Nope. I am worried that I will harm her. (She rejects to take photo with you during Hubert Wu’s (胡鴻鈞) concert?) She explained to me that it might cause additional rumours and I told her it became an awkward situation. In fact, she is a fearless person and does not worry about us disliking her.”
Eddie disclosed he felt nervous when cooking together with Philip and must make preparations beforehand: “Many old friends are making the reservations. I have no pressure during the competition and hope everybody will eat happily.”
