On 30th November, Louis Koo (古天樂), Richie Jen (任賢齊), Raymond Lam (林峯), German Cheung (張文傑), Kenny Wong (黃德斌), Terrance Lau (劉俊謙) attended the pre-shooting ceremony of new film (九龍城寨‧圍城).
Louis expressed he filmed many scenes with Raymond and would use replacement if too dangerous: “I usually shoot action scenes personally unless too risky. In the movie, I am as fast as whirlwind and have little experiences in action scenes. At the set, there are many props such as television in 1980s which make me feel happy, upon watching the playback.”
Although it was the first collaboration between Richie and Raymond, but Richie praised he was very fit and trained for 5 days per week: “I used to perceive Raymond as gentle and refined man but turns out to be extremely fit. I play an uncle and have little action scenes. Anyway, I believe the audiences will enjoy watching it.”
Raymond disclosed he was beaten by Louis and Richie and needed to shoot car crash and jump off from the building scenes: “I begin to train for few months prior to the shooting. I feel like puking when training for 3 hours on the first day and having injuries is unavoidable and worth it.”
Both pointed the film would wrap up before lunar new year and Raymond revealed he stopped his family from visiting him in Hong Kong because of the quarantine. He said: “I rely on video chatting with my family everyday. (Missing your daughter?) Yes. I miss my wife, Carina Zhang (張馨月) and my daughter is one year old only. (Worry that your daughter might not recognise you?) Nope. She will call me daddy once seeing me. Hence, I do not mind suffering any hardship.”
