Previously, Grace Wong (王君馨) gained popularity based on her role in TVB drama, A Fist Within Four Walls (城寨英雄) and bagged Most Popular Female Character (最受歡迎電視女角色) Award. Subsequently, she received compliments for her acting skills in My Dearly Sinful Mind (心理追兇Mind Hunter), A General, A Scholar and A Eunuch (超時空男臣) and OMG, Your Honour (是咁的,法官閣下) series but was not nominated for TV Queen. Grace showed her unhappiness to the company after becoming a “bystander” in promotion video and poster in I’ve Got The Power (超能使者) drama and showing favouritism to rising star, Tiffany Lau (劉穎鏇). In addition, the negotiation for her contract renewal with TVB failed and she decided to leave after working for them for 14 years.

Apparently, new drama, I‘ve Got The Power uses the same cast team in A Fist Within Four Walls but Natalie Tong (唐詩詠) replaces Nancy Wu (胡定欣) as the female lead. In the preview, Grace has a few seconds scene but her face is blocked by a hand and Tiffany has many sexy scenes and receives more attention than Natalie. In the poster, Grace is assigned to stand in the second row while Ruco Chan (陳展鵬), Joel Chan (陳山聰), Tiffany and Natalie stand in the first row. It marks Grace’s final series in TVB.

Although Grace cannot develop her acting career smoothly, but she sets up her own YouTube channel and releases her new song, Casada as G.Racie. It receives good responses and wins an award in J.S.G. Awards Presentation 2020 (2020年度勁歌金曲頒獎典禮). After that, she produces another new song, Scream (尖叫) and has daring and sexy performances with Alex Lam (林德信) in music video. Evidently, she has better results in her singing career.
