The finale of Modern Dynasty (家族榮耀) drama was broadcasted on 18th March. Raymond Wong’s (黃浩然) mistress, Jenn Lau (劉悅) has a twin sister who stabbed Tavia Yeung (楊茜堯) in prison and it is hard to predict her chances of life or death. Gallen Lo (羅嘉良) played third uncle in Mas family returned to help the business. According to a news source earlier, the original cast team would be participating in the sequel and Tavia might be alive. During a recent interview with HK01 (香港01), television producer Tommy Leung (梁家樹) disclosed the secret.

Tommy expressed the scene of Tavia was stabbed was considered an open ending: “There are many open endings as I might produce a sequel. I will tell you about it at a later time.”

He confessed he was currently considering about it and needed to wrap up several series first: “I also need to review the script and believe everyone is looking forward to it. A good plot line is very important in second season. We do not want to see similarities in first instalment and receiving good reviews are essential. We are not in a hurry to film it anyway.”

When asked if Gallen would play the male lead while Him Law (羅子溢) and Tavia become comrades in the sequel, Tommy replied anything was possible: “Gallen might be the mastermind. At this point, it is a piece of blank paper and we must think about inputting the details carefully. I really appreciate Gallen for agreeing to make a cameo appearance immediately. We are good friends and he specially travelled from Beijing to Shenzhen to film one scene.”

Questioning if Tavia was alive or dead, Tommy said: “I reckon she is alive if we are producing a sequel. Julian Cheung (張智霖), Tavia and Him have agreed to participate in second season and it makes everyone feel excited. (Who is the father of Tavia’s baby? Raymond or Julian?) We will reveal the truth when that time comes. Do you prefer Julian?”

Finally, Tommy disclosed they planned to shoot in Hong Kong this time but it was hard to find a luxurious mansion similar in Shenzhen: “We are still thinking about it. Let’s wait and see.”
