On 5th May, Joel Chan (陳山聰) introduced delicious food for upcoming Mother’s Day at Tai Po District and was praised for his look by the bystanders. He said: “My face is red now. Today is my cheating day since becoming Key Opinion Leader (KOL) for the first time.
Joel expressed he begun to train from January as collaborating with Ron Ng (吳卓羲) in new drama, PTU in July and new series directed by Patrick Kong (葉念琛): “I run and exercise everyday. My weight remains the same but there is visible differences in my body. Last year, I trained for 6 pack abs for The Invisibles (隱形戰隊) series and currently aiming for 8 pack abs as PTU is based on an elite uniformed group. Thus, I must show my fittest condition. (Any topless scenes?) No idea. Television producer and director might add one scene upon seeing my fit body. A group of youngsters will be participating and I must look as good as them.”
When mentioned about his diet, Joel replied he ate chicken breast, fish and vegetables: “It is extremely hard to resist but part of my job. Artistes have to make sacrifices for the roles. I will be restricting my diet for 6 months and getting used to it. My son eats better food than me and begins to eat solid food now.”
Asking about any celebrations for Mother’s Day, Joel said: “I will be eating together with my family. (Give any presents on behalf of your son?) My wife said no need and I had given a gift to her last year.”
