After winning in Chinese variety show, Everybody Stand By 2 (演員請就位2) in 2020, Myolie Wu (胡杏兒) cuts her hair short and participates in Sisters Who Make Waves 3 (乘風破浪的姐姐3) programme together with 29 female artistes to compete in singing and dancing.

Lately, the production team of Sisters Who Make Waves 3 show releases new photos of Myolie in white dress. She expressed she loved short hair and it was her third time to cut her hair short, since joining the industry for 20 years: “My first time is Survivor’s Law (律政新人王) drama and second time is Triumph in the Skies 2 (衝上雲宵2) series in 2012.”

After wrapping up new drama (獅子山下‧情) in Hong Kong, Myolie returns to Mainland China immediately and said: “Honestly speaking, it is a different challenge when compared to Everybody Stand By 2 show. Although I did release an album, but singing and dancing are not my expertise. This time, I get to challenge with artistes who are more than 30 year old and age should not deter us from learning it. Regardless of single, married or become a mother, we should continue to work hard on our careers and should not stop simply because of the change in identity.”

When asked about facing competitors in their thirties, Myolie replied: “My singing and dancing might not be as good as acting, but I have more than 20 years of acting experiences and not bad in dancing. I have been watching music videos for preparation and feel it is a fun challenge. I feel grateful to receive everyone’s support and enjoying the stage is the most important.”
